Fredericks & Mae, led by Gabriel Cohen and Giovi Signorile, is a design studio celebrating the art of gift-giving. They strive to create objects that evoke wide eyes, inexplicable delight, and full-body chills, believing that a well-chosen gift can forge connections and serve as a reminder of relationships. They are mindful of the pitfalls of materialism but revel in surrounding themselves with carefully selected beautiful items, transforming every mantle into an altar, each shelf into a shrine, and every coffee table into a narrative of origins and aspirations. Established in 2007 amidst piles of feathers, thread, gold, and paper, Fredericks & Mae grew from a shared passion for materials.
