MEET THE DESIGNER

Talbot & Yoon is a design firm founded by Mark Talbot and Youngjin Yoon, who were both trained as architects. They incorporate their architectural thinking into the playful objects that they design for everyday use. The Kirby vase collection is designed specifically for Areaware.

 

Shipping & Returns
  • Local Delivery: Delivery is available during shop hours and take place between 11am to 4pm. Delivery fee based on location will be added at checkout.
  • Store Pickup: If you live outside of our delivery radius or would like to stop by our Maplewood stop, store pickup is available from our 87 Baker St shop during operating hours.
  • Shipping: Orders placed for shipping will be packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days. A tracking number will be provided upon shipment.

Mark & Youngjin are both architects licensed in the state of New York. They founded their company to give more people the opportunity to experience the forms, qualities, beauty, and ideas embedded in the architecture that they value in their daily lives. Their work uses modular components meant to be customized for the specific desires of the client; a sconce can be modified to accent an entire wall or a daybed can be pared down into a stool.

Talbot & Yoon is an award winning design firm dedicated to creating architecture for everyone at the scale of furniture. All of our work is designed and manufactured by us in our Red Hook, Brooklyn studio.
