Maidenhair Fern

$20.00 USD

The maidenhair fern (Adiantum pedatum), is a species of fern native to moist forests in eastern North America. It grows in a variety of habitats, but generally favors soils that are both humus-rich, moist, and well-drained. It grows both in soils and on rock faces and ledges when adequate moisture is present.

Caring for your Adiantum pedatum

  • Will not survive drying out even if only for a short amount of time. Keep evenly moist year-round and water 2-3x per week.
  • Moderate indirect light, does not like full sun as it will burn the delicate foliage.
  • Non toxic if ingested
