The long-fibered sphagnum moss poles are created with the absolute finest organic, renewable and sustainably wild-grown sphagnum moss. Sphagnum is used for its natural anti-bacterial and moisture retention properties- holding up to twenty times its own weight in water and naturally attracting aroid root systems to build a symbiotic structural relationship. Unlike most commercially available moss poles, these are created with pure sphagnum rather than less than desirable peat moss or coir.
