Hoya carnosa has green leaves that emerge on cascading rope-like vines, making this Hoya perfect as a hanging plant or hanging down from the window sills. When it enters maturity, Hoya carnosa will eventually produce beautiful clusters of star-shaped pink flowers. Prefers soil to dry completely between waterings. Pot in well draining soil.
Available in 4" grower's pot
Hoya is a genus of over 500 accepted species of tropical plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. Most are native to several countries of Asia such as the Philippines, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Polynesia, New Guinea, and many species are also found in Australia.
Common names for this genus are waxplant, waxvine, waxflower or simply hoya.
Your Hoya will thrive in medium to bright indirect light. It can tolerate lower light but will likely produce flowers if placed in brighter light. The more light it receives, the more vibrant the foliage and the more flowers it will produce. Water every two weeks.
