Rhaphidophora decursiva, commonly known by the name 'Dragon Tail', is an easy to care for, visual striking, and fast growing houseplant. Some people are incorrectly calling this plant Epipremnum pinnatum. E. pinnatum are distinguished by pinholes growing along the mid-rib of the leaf. This climbing vine is native to the Solomon Islands, a chain of islands in the South Pacific located off the coast of Papua New Guinea.

Leaves begin solid but emerge as split leaves as the plant matures. Eventually the leaves get larger with maturity. These plants tolerate underwatering, low light, and average household humidity.

  • Bright indirect light
  • Likes to trail, and would do well with a trellis or other aerial support
  • Water every 1-2 weeks
